The XLR connector range is rugged, with good current ratings, is multi-sourced and well priced. My project was a 12V power monitoring and distribution system for a gliding club "mobile control tower" and these connectors proved to be ideal. The Neutrik range have a full published specification and do not have any small screws that can be lost during assembly. The cable clamp method is excellent. I recommend this quality product.
