Q. would a 37mbar propane regulator work with this product or would it be to powerful?

Q. will this be appropriate to run on butane or propane.

LPG is a mixture of propane and butane, so this would be suitable for this.

Q. What regulator should I get to attach this to the lpg cylinder?

We do not have a regulator available for this unit as it is designed for school use.
