Seeed 101020049 Grove - Flame Sensor can be used to detect fire sources or other light sources of the wavelength in the range of 760nm - 1100 nm. It is based on the YG1006 sensor which is a high-speed and high-sensitive NPN silicon phototransistor.
Due to its black epoxy, the sensor is sensitive to infrared radiation, therefore, combined with an extra buzzer and LED, this can easily be built a fire alarm system.
- High-performance: Detecting fires or light of the wavelength in the range of 760nm ~ 1100nm
- High-speed: Detecting speed up to 15μS/cm
- High-sensitive: Based on the YG1006 sensor-a high-sensitive NPN silicon phototransistor
- Adjustable sensitivity: A precision potentiometer provided
- Easy to program: Grove Interface for easy plug and play with your Arduino board instead of using jumper wires, supports both Arduino and Raspberry Pi platforms, and full guidance documents provided
