Compact and Well Made

It is ideal for projects such as amplifiers and provides a reassuringly firm and smooth sliding connection, unlike some sockets, where the plug jiggles around! Available in a range of colours and it has 6 'plastic mounting pins' which give it more support when mounted on a PCB. There is also a switch which can be used for detecting when a plug is either connected or disconnected.
