Warton Metals Omega 63/37 Rosin-Free Solder Wire
Brand: Warton MetalsWarton Metals Omega 63/27 rosin-free cored solder wire is made from a flux 'core' contained in high purity cored solder wire. Omega solder contains no rosin (colophony), resin acids, pine oil or other naturally occurring derivatives from pine trees and has been specially designed to reduce the number of world-wide cases of industrial asthma, related to rosin usage within a cored solder wire.
Omega provides excellent wetting whilst leaving a minimal clear post-soldering residue and is available with 1% or 2% flux.
- Solder content: 63% tin, 37% lead
- Rosin-free
- Formulated without the use of halides
- Melting point 183 to 185°C
- Supplied on 500g reels, except 85-6168 which is supplied on a 250g reel
- Fast flow:
- 2% flux content
- Available in 18, 20, 22 & 24swg
- Low residue:
- 1% flux content
- Available in 18, 20, 22 & 26swg
