Q. Is this soldered in first, then the transistor pushed in afterwards?
Looking at it, it appears that the legs have to be pressed from the side to grip the transistor legs and then the whole ensemble is soldered into the board?

A. Hi, thank you for your question. This is for a bigger older package the TO-5 the 2N5457 is a TO-92 package and unfortunately we do not list a holder for that package.
