A 12V, 7Ah valve regulated lead-acid SLA battery from the Yuasa NP Series.
The battery's unique style of construction ensures that there is no electrolyte leakage. It may be used in either standby or cyclic applications, achieving up to 1200 charge / discharge cycles.
Typical uses include memory back-up systems, test equipment, fire and security alarms as well as golf trolleys, wheelchairs, emergency lighting, lawn mowers, electric tools and measuring instruments.
Q. We have several used Yuasa NP Series NP7-12 Sealed Valve Regulated Lead-Acid Battery SLA 12V 7.0Ah. What is the best way of disposing of them?
A. Hi Carl, thank you for your question. If you are local to us in Colchester then we can take the old battery for disposal when you purchase a new battery. Alternatively any recycling centre for household waste should have a section for batteries. For industrial waste you may need to contact the local council.
A. Hi James, thank you for your question. Something like 18-1462 would be suitable.

High quality. Long service life.

These are high quality batteries with a service life that far exceeds that quoted in the manufacture's data sheet. I've just bought another 24 (actually I bought 25 as it's cheaper!) to replace the batteries in a large UPS that we have in our workshop. The originals, bought from Rapid seven(!) years ago were not completely dead, just giving a shorter run time (2 hours instead of the 7+ hour they gave when new). Rapid had the best pricing I could find anywhere.
The best.

We have used these in portable equipment for two decades. Most last 5+ years, when others last sometimes only 1. Don't buy anything else, especially at these prices.
Good medium capacity SLA

This Yuasa 12v / 7AH SLA provides plenty of power for small devices that need a more-or-less constant supply for many hours or longer. A good buy at this price - compare to Maplin's £38!
