Q. Is this material fuel safe? As in does petrol degrade/dissolve it?
A. Hi Phil, thank you for your question. These are made from Polyolefins and are broken down mainly by light but extended exposure to strong chemicals like petrol will cause premature break down of the heat shrink, so it is not fuel safe.

Do check you get the size you want - it shrinks to approx 50% of the stated size.
