Ciseco B011 PowerPOD 1117 3V3 Takes 4.4V - 16V Input and Outputs Regulated 3.3V

The Ciseco PowerPOD 1117 series is based around the versatile AP1117 SMD regulator and offers a range of power options in a useful form factor. All PowerPOD modules share the same pinout which is also the same as the venerable 7805 regulator. The maximum current rating is 800mA although you should de-rate this at higher input voltages to avoid heat build up. The break-out style board allows you to use a sophisticated voltage regulator without having to learn to solder surface mounted devices. The range of inputs which includes both step-up and step-down versions allows you to choose the best solution for your project.
