Q. Hi there,
is this just a straightforward USB>jack cable or does it have built-in circuitry specific to Genie?
A. Hi Henry, thank you for your question. The lead has a plug and play Genie USB controller I.C embedded within the USB plug, it is not a straightforward wired lead.

Q. Does this cable work with picaxe? If so, which drivers do you use
A. Dear Daniel, thank you for your question. We believe that these are not completely interchangeable so we always recommend the PICAXE USB cable 13-0849 be used for Picaxe applications.

Genie plug and play - does what it says

A Bit pricey to have more than one cable for downloading coding / flowchart commands in present financial situation, ideally would love to be able to have a class set to run live robot commands and calibrate sensors etc.
Great service though - superfast, no complaints, cheers Rapid!
