A great general purpose relay for switching mains voltage, low current devices. Switch is rated at 250VAC 5A with a 5V coil. Ideal for automation projects where one is using a 5V micro-computer/controller like a Raspberry Pi or Arduino.
These relays are small (L 17.6mm x W 10.1mm x H 12.3mm) and fit nicely side by side on a PCB. They have a standard 2.54mm pitch allowing them to fit on breadboards, stripboards, matrix boards ect, making proto-typing easy. Current draw at 5V is around 39mA (value based on bench power supply reading) and can be driven by a wide range of low current transistors. The switching noise is quite quiet, its just loud enough for you to hear that satisfying click but quiet enough to not get on your nerves.
If you need a small, simple relay for switching 250VAC up to 1250 watt such as lights, heaters, fans ect from your micro-computer/controller then look no further.
I really cannot fault these relays one bit, 5/5.
