The ReSpeaker Core Voice Interface is an open modular voice interface for your surroundings. The interface lets you interact with your home appliances, plant, office equipment, IoT devices or anything else that can be voice-enabled.
ReSpeaker will support both online cognitive services and lightweight offline speech recognition engines. A speech interface has always been ideal for music services, and ReSpeaker supports Airplay/DLNA for wireless music streaming. Just connect ReSpeaker to any ordinary speaker with an AUX cable, then you can start enjoying the music you love without pressing a single button.
The board is based around both the onboard MT7688 Wi-Fi module which runs the Linux based OpenWrt, and the ATmega32u4 chip which is absolutely Arduino compatible, meaning that ReSpeaker can be used as a powerful Arduino board, to do many ‘Arduino’ things.
