Q. What is the battery life if the magnet is left on?
A. Hi John, thanks for your question. The magnet draws 1.2A and, according to the manufacturer, in a continuous test with a good quality, new battery, it supports a 50kg weight for 20 minutes.

Reviewed by: Tim Allison - Wednesday, March 20, 2019Excellent electromagnetic properties, let down by awkward to fit battery in the casing. The unit can also get very hot when used if exerting a strong pull and the battery soon becomes discharged.
