This 5mm RGB LED features an intelligent control function that enbales the LED to be controlled precisely to give a desired light output. The onboard IC uses CMOS technology and the LED can completely receive and decode data through a single wire. Multiple LEDS may be connected either in series or cascaded to enable the design of intricate lighting patterns.

Q. Is there a maximum number of these LEDs that can be in a chain?
A. Hi Gareth, thank you for your question. We have a data sheet; the output current and/or voltage of your power supply would be the main limitation as to how many of these can be run.
