Reviewed by: Mr Steve Griffiths - Friday, March 25, 2016I have access to professional PCB assembly tools but wanted something I could just use occasionally on the kitchen table when I'm not at the shop. The stand is quite solid and fairly well manufactured. The base could be larger and heavier. My only real gripe is that you can't move the magnifier very far away from the job, and that means it's often awkward to get a soldering iron between the magnifier and the job you're working on at the desired angle.
