This display unit features OLED technology to produce a device that is lightweight and has better power efficiency, wider viewing angles and improved brightness over conventional LCD displays. Unlike most displays that only have two, Winstar displays have four character sets: Western, Japanese, Cyrillic and Chinese. This display has a yellow emitter and has the overall dimensions of 85 x 36 x 10mm.

Amazingly bright and readable

A great replacement for the 16x2 LCD displays used all over the place. This is bright, very readable even in full sunlight in egypt ! Industry standard interface with one slight change to the setup codes and quite power efficient. runs off 3.3V directly from a microcontroller pin too! Great!
