A 100nF 10% miniature metallised polyester capacitor from the Kemet R82 series.

The R82 series are encapsulated in thermosetting resin in a UL 94V-0 rated case and have radial leads of 5mm pitch. These capacitors are ideal for inline use in applications such as blocking, coupling, decoupling, timing and oscillator circuits.

Q. Is there a correct way to solder the capacitor? Can it be soldered the wrong way around? (is there a fixed positive and negative or can the capacitor be put either way like a resistor?) Thanks
A. Hi Joshua, thank you for your question. These are not polarity sensitive and can be soldered either way round.
