A high quality Class 1 laser module that projects a 650nm red beam with a line type beam shape, fan angle of 60° and an operating distance of 0.25m. The module uses a special acrylic lens that produces a sharp beam without the use of rotating polygonal mirrors or motors. The lens and electronics are built-in to a robust brass housing and can be operated under dusty and harsh industrial environments. Operation is possible without series resistors or control electronics, the module simply being connected to a power supply. Suitable applications include laser levels, laser marking systems, robotics, and laser entertainment areas.

Q. Hi Is there any limit on continuous use fro this product? Is there any data on hours I can expect it to last? Are there any issues with the product being vibrated during use?
A. Hi Peter, thank you for your question. The unit has an operating temperature of between -20 and +40°C so as long as it is kept at this medium the unit will continue to operate correctly, the laser itself has a 3000 hour operation. The manufacturer does not mention any damage due to vibration.
