Hammond 1591 Series Translucent Polycarbonate Enclosures

A range of electronic instrument enclosures available in translucent UL 94V-0, flame-retardant polycarbonate.

Available in a range of six sizes, each with a choice of three colours - blue, red or clear.

• Ideally suited for modern styling or where internal components need to be visible
• Integral card guides accept 1.5mm (0.062") PCBs
• Lap-joint construction provides IP54 protection against ingress of dust and splashing water
• Lids are secured by four M3 x 10mm Phillips screws, fitting into internal threaded brass bushes
• Moulded from easy to machine flame retardant polycarbonate plastic
• Blue version is almost totally transparent to blue, white and near white LEDs, readouts and displays
• Clear version is almost totally transparent
• Red version is almost totally transparent to infrared devices
• Perfect for applications when repetitive assembly and disassembly are required
